Okay so this time I'm trying to do something a wee bit different than usual (I'm referring to the layout and presentation of this DolledUp section, rather than the makeup itself). I drew up arrows on the main points instead of just babbling about it. ^_^
I even came up with a name for the look this time around. Oh, don't I have too much time in my hands now thanks to CNY holidays! I call it "A Lady's Goth" because it is inspired by the goth/emo/visual kei look. A dark theatrical variation. But I toned it down much because my outfit's theme was more of, as said by my cousin, "Audrey Hepburn style". see 白と黒。
I decided to fully line my eyes with black gel eyeliner, which I did, but being conscious of the overall theme, I then applied silver and grey eyeshadows. The corner of the eyes were given shadowy effect with grey kohl which further softened the look.
Blush was again very light, to allow focus on the eyes and lips.
And ah, plum lips! If you follow my blog, you might recall my wishing for purple lip colour. After many many searches from many many places, I finally found the purple shade I wanted so much! Yay! Banzai!
